Wow. Tired of trying to figure out how to finance an expensive production. So I am going to shoot a feature, on Super 16mm (I own my own camera) in and around the southwest, on a shooting ration of 3:1, with a cast of 5 and a crew of 2 or 3.
The cost of this will be about ?2750 for Preproduction and Production (but not for Post). This includes Film Stock, Catering, Props etc.
I have worked this budget out in some detail. Okay and I own my own equipment, but it just shows that you can make a movie in a professional format for not too much money.
Well, I am off to make my movie. Anybody in the Southwest (England for you Americans and Australians out there) feel like helping me for free, give me a shout.
Oh, and if you feel like chipping in toward the ?2750 all the better. Anyone ? Anyone.....
Just kidding.
Anyway, its withing my reach and I am so fired up to get moving.
See you at the oscars.

Well, I am going to shoot over 5 weekends. I have my own sound stuff (Portable DAT), but I need a sound guy as I will be behind the camera.
I will also need an Assistant Camera guy to change film in the Magazines while I am shooting.
Somebody who can do makeup too. Thats the Gory kind, not the blush and mascara kind.
